The Aftermath (2018)

During my time in August 2018 as an Artist in Residence at Great Smoky Mountains National Park, I had the wonderful opportunity to collaborate with Arrowmont Artist in Residence Alyssa Coffin. We created a mixed media work that incorporates natural sound, music, dance/movement, art, and a site-specific location in the Smoky Mountains.

Listen to my music that I contributed for the collaboration. It is created solely using natural sounds Alyssa and I recorded on the trail: buzzing flies, running water, our measured breathing as we hiked, etc.
